School Clubs - every child takes part in a club

Every child, from reception upwards, at Valley Park will be able to attend a club on a Friday afternoon from 2:40pm till 3:30pm.  We call this time 'Club Friday' and it is a great way to end the week.  With high quality activities, run by our school staff, children commit to an activity for a half term.  They are then able to choose a different activity the following half term.  Current clubs include: singing, gardening and sport.

    Music opportunities at Valley Park

Learn guitar: We have a specialist guitar teacher who particularly excels in working with the youngest children.  Guitar lessons are offered from reception upwards.  Please speak to the school office to find out about current availability.

In school rock and pop band lessons with Rocksteady.

We partner with Rocksteady music school to deliver fun and inclusive rock and pop band lessons, right here at Valley Park.  These weekly lessons take place in school and are led by highly trained professional musicians who know how to inspire a love for music.

It is the perfect way for children to learn new musical skills, make friends and have fun, all whilst boosting confidence, well being, social skills and academic achievement.

    • There's no experience necessary and all instruments for lessons are provided.
    • Lessons are available from reception upwards.
    • Children will learn skills in performance, playing an instrument and performing as a group.
