If you would like additional hours, and there are spaces available, these can be booked and paid for in advance. An afternoon session which would run from 12:30pm till 3:30pm costs £30 per day and a minimum of two sessions must be booked per week. (Same two days every week for the half term, for example). Please see the terms and conditions for more information. Please note your child will remain in the two year old room until the term after they turn 3, when they will move into the Pre-School Class. Children are eligible to enter our nursery the term after they turn 3 if there are spaces available. For example if they are 3 in April, they can start in September. If they are 3 in September they can start in January. These will initially be allocated in groups of 8 when we open in September 2027. There will be three intakes a year if there are sufficient spaces.
15 hour spaces
Every child is eligible for a 15 hour space. These will be allocated as either a morning session or an afternoon session. These sessions can not be split among different providers.
30 hour spaces
There are 30 hour spaces available for working parents (eligibility checks apply).
There are three intakes a year: September, January and April (after the Easter holidays). We will only be able to accept pupils if there are sufficient spaces.
In a school based nursery, your child is taught by a teacher with a carefully planned curriculum. This is very different from 'child care'. We would expect your child to attend the nursery class every day in order to make the most of the learning available and to set them up ready for transition to reception, which will come along very quickly!
We ask that children are in at least a basic uniform of school white polo shirt with logo and school purple sweatshirt with logo with your own choice of leg wear. Children should have trainers for indoors and be provided with wellies for outside (these need to be available every day). If you would like your child to wear the full school uniform this is up to you. Children will also need a school book bag. Crocs and sandals must not be worn for safety reasons.
Extended hours will be available for both 2 year olds in the nursery and Pre-school children at a cost of £8 per day. This will need to be paid for and booked in advance.
