Welcome to Valley Park Academy! 

We are looking forward to you and your child joining us as we create an exceptional new school together. 

Whilst the school will open for the first time in September 2027, this is the third brand new school I have opened since 2016.  Valley Park Academy will open under experienced leadership and staff with a shared vision of excellence.  

At Valley Park Academy, children will be immersed in a purpose-built learning environment that will enable them to be equipped to be successful in a rapidly changing world. Children will learn to be resilient, creative and to approach problems with an open mind - prepared to find a range of answers! They will learn that struggle and challenge are vital parts of the learning process and will be able to cope with, and adapt to change. Children will learn through hands on experiences and we will continue to foster the natural insatiable curiosity that they are born with into sustaining a life long love of learning. 

I have been a headteacher/Principal for the last 17 years - with 10 years of deputy headship before that, all in the Didcot/Abingdon area. I have dedicated over 30 years of my working life to striving to provide the very best for children in their primary years -and I am delighted to be able to do this for Valley Park.

The school is still under construction at present, but the curriculum, ethos and approach is evident in both Didcot Primary Academy and Sires Hill Primary Academy where I am currently the Executive Principal.
